As a final step, you’ll need to prepare all the content and images that will go on your site. Think about the pages you want to have and prepare a document with all the text ready to go on each page. Since we’ll be creating the website with WordPress, the first step will be to install it onto your server. Log in to your cPanel with the username and password provided to you by your host. Next, find the Website Installers or One Click Installers section. Select WordPress and click Install.
Fill in the prompted info and click Install once again.
Wait for the installation to finish and you will see a message that WordPress has been installed and that you can now log in to your WordPress dashboard. Navigate over to yourdomainname.com/wp-admin and enter your login details. Remember to replace our domain name with your actual domain name.
2. Installing Your WordPress Theme
The next step is to install the premium theme you purchased. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes > Add new. On the next screen, click Upload Theme.
Select the zipped folder that contains the theme’s files then click Upload. Once installation is done, click Activate.
3. Install the Required Plugins
You’ll see a notification at the top of your screen prompting you to install the required WordPress plugins. Click the link that says Being Installing Plugins. On the next page, select all the plugins and then click Install in the drop down menu. When the plugins have been installed, go to Plugins > All Plugins and click on the link to Begin Activating Plugins.
Once all the plugins have been activated, it’s time to customize your WordPress theme and setup your pages.
How to Customize Your WordPress Business Website
A fairly easy way to create a website quickly is to make use of the demo content and pre-built layouts that come with the Be theme. This will save you a lot of time as you don’t have to create all the pages from scratch. Instead, you only need to replace the text and images with your own.

For the purposes of this tutorial, I’ve decided to import all the content. Once you’ve made your choice, click on the Install button and wait for the import process to finish.
When you’re done tweaking the style of the theme to match your branding, it’s time to replace the demo content with your own. Let’s start with the homepage.
In your dashboard, go to Pages > All Pages and find the page called Home. Hover over the title and then click on Edit Page. The Be Theme uses Muffin Builder which is a drag and drop page builder. When the page loads, you’ll be able to click on individual elements, style them, and replace the content with your own. Simply click on the pencil icon and you’ll be able to edit the contents.
You can repeat this for all the pages on your site and edit them to reflect the information about your business.
