How to Add Presenter Notes in Keynote Quickly
Watch this short tutorial screencast or follow the quick tutorial steps that accompany this video.
1. Change to Presenter Note View & Add a Note
Let’s add a presenter note by going to the View menu and choosing the Show Presenter Notes option.
This opens up the Presenter Notes panel as shown below.
Then just type out the note that you want to add to this slide. You can add notes on a slide by slide basis. So, make sure to add them to each and every Keynote slide that you want reminders for.
2. Add More Presenter Notes
If you advance to another slide, you can simply add more presenter notes and add them to the additional slide.
Personally, I like to use these to add speaking cues and important details about emphasis in my presentation.
3. Print Slide Notes
To print the slide notes with your presentation, go ahead and open up the print menu with Command + P.
Choose your handouts. Make sure to turn on the presenter notes so that they’ll print with your presentation. Keep the notes nearby to make sure that you stay on cue.
You can also see these speaker notes on your own screen when you go into Presenter View, so that no printed copies are required at all.
